HART researcher, Hannah Henderson, and her colleague, David Mullineaux, conducted an evaluation exploring exercise referral patients’ physical activity levels (measured via the New Zealand Physical Activity Questionnaire) and well-being (measured via the EQ5D). Changes that occurred between week 1, at 12 weeks, 6 months and 12 months were observed and analysed. Following a considered examination of the data, the evaluation also explored any changes in the data in relation to age, gender, postcode, BMI and the reason given for referral.
